Not really, the shooting range scene is very basic and the shooting mechanics outside (camels, etc..) will involve a die roll, also close combat, etc... There will be indeed a game mechanics overhaul in v0.4. For the shooting range, the only change is really that it can affect your faction points (if you choose to shoot Trumpf or Clit-on three times in a row).
