Just wanted to weigh in on the “weed” topic. I am a gardener for a living and I’m an amateur farmer at best at the moment, that being said: “weeds” are a completely subjective category, but not to say they don’t have real material consequences, especially in regards to agriculture but 99% of “weeds” are not harmful and actually MOST “weeds” are extremely important if not essential to healthy soil and microbiology, both in agriculture and decorative contexts and can be extremely useful in and of themselves. If somewhere is being “invaded” by “weeds” that’s because the cultivators of the land have taken a vital part of the ecosystem, or are adding harmful elements to that ecosystem. All organisms are essential to an ecosystem unless those organisms or elements are artificially introduced by people, and almost always those people who have ruptured the ecosystem are or were: capitalists, colonists, settlers, etc. Sorry to go off but I just wanted to put in my couple of cents. You don’t need to listen to me tho, just start by listening to Marcus at The Return of The Repressed lol and become Lysenko and Kammerer pilled lol.
