Madam web is the worst of all of them. This is madness!
Stranger2Reality
I really wish Devindra would mute his mic unless he is actually speaking, as he is constantly making all kinds of noises while others are speaking. If it's not the noise you're referencing then he's constantly saying "um hm" and just grunting in agreement. He's the only one that does this, so I don't know if it's just a series of audible tics that he has or if the other hosts mute themselves when they're not speaking.
BananaJoe
Probably the right decision, but I watch all the movies they review.
Cameron Stewart
I can’t believe you even saw all of them to rank them! I’ve only seen the first two Venoms in their entirety. I watched about 30 (non consecutive) minutes of Madame Web, scanning through it on streaming until I went “ok, I get the gist” and turned it off. The others I can’t be bothered with.
Mark P
Damn, we were all waiting for your ranking
Mark P
Yeah it’s Devindra, he generally does it as a forewarning he’s about to interject on the conversation
Iain
Am I the only one who gets really perturbed/distracted by the constant laughing through the nose into the mic (not 100% sure which of the hosts is doing this, but think it may be Devindra)? Been bothering me for a while now. Once you start hearing the nose-laugh, you can't stop hearing it. :-/ Petty, I know... Still, love you guys! Listen to every episode and the AD's

So much nonsense spoken on this episode. Someone who checks a bag that could be carried on his wasteful with their time and money. Also, coats in the overhead are totally fine if they fit on top of bags (which they often do). Storing a coat inside a bag instead of carrying on top is a giant waste of space. And I guess Devindra doesn’t ever travel to cold places where you actually need a coat for more than the trip to the airport. Absurdity!
Stranger2Reality
I don't know crap about comics so I might be wrong about some of these, but here's some unfulfilled promises made at the end of some Marvel movies from before Phase 5: At the end of X-Men Apocalypse they alluded to introducing Mister Sinister, but that was never paid off. At the end of Doctor Strange Karl Mordo takes away Jonathan Pangborn's magic, stating that there are "too many sorcerers". They never do anything with this, at least on this version of Earth. In Spider-Man Homecoming at the end Vulture and Scorpion meet up in prison to discuss Spider-Man's true identity, and this is never dealt with again. In Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, at the end Clea shows up and Strange follows her (with his 3rd eye open) into the Dark Dimension.
Mountain of Conflict
Exactly. Comics just move on.
Stranger2Reality
Also, I feel like most people have largely forgotten about this show, but a main plot point in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was about people displaced when the snap was undone (the "Flag Smashers") who were now outcasts and were forming a terrorist network to fight nationalism because they thought things were better during "The Blip". I agree though, how would Marvel deal with the snap in a way that's satisfying to Dave? Some kind of Leftovers-esque drama series that doesn't involve superheroes at all? Not exactly a bunch of demand for that there, I'd wager.
Mountain of Conflict
Who wants the MCU to deal with the snap in earnest. That's not how these movies work. And Endgame had a lengthy sequence of people being sad.
Mountain of Conflict
Similar stuff has been said for years but for some reason Dave doesn't want to do it.
Linus
Since David shouted out Daniel Espinosa in the show I feel that I have to suggest his Netflix mini-series The Helicopter Heist, which I hope is available in the US!
Brad Arnold
Did Devindra just say that Donald Trump’s hair always looks good? What?
Stranger2Reality
I haven't seen Kraven, Madame Web and Venom 3, and honestly I couldn't really tell you much of what happened in the first two Venom movies or in Morbius, so I can't really do a ranking here.
Yochai Gal
Someone tell Devindra that Chris from Chris & Jack played Sokka from Avatar
Bmac
Maybe it’s just me, but when I hear one film is bland and the other is offensively terrible I’d rather watch the latter
BananaJoe
My Sony-Spiderman Ranking: Venom 2 Venom Kraven Venom 3 Morbius Madame Web Venom 2 was the only movie that was so bad it was good and it was 90 minutes long. The rest were bad and boring.
Nick Clemente
I'm a fan of the Chris and Jack youtube channel David mentioned. And it was fun to find out Jack De Sena was the voice of Sokka from Avatar the Last Airbender.
Jacob Chimilar
Even in the description would be handy just a next week: _____)
Don Wood
I am having a good time with it. Some really great performances and gorgeous cinematography that gets me through the occasional hand-wavey silliness it occasionally dips into. (I don’t mean that as a real dig to the show, all shows of this type have to do that.)
Nice Guy Eddie
I look forward to the guys turning Unhinged (2020) into a minor inconvenience cinematic universe
Iker Maruri
This got fixed this morning I saw someone else was having the same issue, thank you Dave
Kyle Smith
Justice for Roy Kent as Hercules (not a villain, but a major unfulfilled promise).

6 months ago I predicted the downfall of Jeff's dad jokes.
Alex Ooi
I’m listening here cos somehow it is screwed up in my normal podcast app 😢
Slashfilmcast
Sorry Phil - I'm experiencing the same issue in Pocket Casts. And yes, lesson learned. Next time, will make a new post rather than try to resolve the previous RSS feed. -DChen
Phil Wu
Not fixed.. pocket casts is still loading the wrong one. Even after writing and restarting and on different devices. this is why you should always post a new item for a fixed link
Iker Maruri
My podcast feed is still downloading the wrong file somehow
Kess Broekman-Dattner
Firstly, is it me or does the entire Sony Marvel enterprise feel like the work of someone in Hollywood, in power, with a vendetta. It’s just so purposefully ruined, one can only imagine a person with supreme influence who has decreed “we shall destroy all chance of success for any and all of these films. Fuck that guy who tried to fuck me!” Also the embedded dad joke punchline is just pure genius in both concept and execution. Time to crowdsource material. I’ll go first: Q: What did the cheese say when it saw itself in the mirror? A (high and sing songy): halooooumiii!
Nicholas Ewers
What chumps are skipping the weekly plugs?
Amanda
Can you imagine being unsnapped and then finding out your family died bc you were snapped while driving your kids to school? Horrifying. I agree that the unsnappening was not a neat solution and those kinds of situations aren't really addressed to my memory.
Joy o Napping
It really, really is. I thought David mentioned it though? Maybe re decoding tv coverage
Joseph Cahill
Devindra's recap of the premise of Pantheon and Logarithm sounds eerily similar to the concept of Soulkiller from Cyberpunk 2077.
Lars Aass Olsen
Fun to hear Jeffs journey with the power lifting from from the DLC Patreon episode 😅
Bram Welch
I always listen to the weekly plugs
Wil Johnson
I cannot believe that no one has mentioned The Agency…is phenomenal
Stranger2Reality
I feel like Sony should just go ahead and make a Sinister Six movie, now that they've spent so much time and effort introducing us all to these characters we mostly dislike. Feels like it would be a good bit of hilarity to assemble the Avengers version of the people you love to hate. Morbius, Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web all in the same movie together would be peak silliness.
Reynaldo K. Cruz
No Devindra coat in the suitcase is a waste of space. Can also be used as a pillow or blanket. Shoe space taken up by coat in suitcase? Never!
Nervous_NRG
That Kansas joke. Top notch.
Timothy Mably
On another note, a Chameleon movie could be really interesting. It obviously works for Venom to carry his own franchise. But there are very few Spider-Man villains who it makes sense for.
Timothy Mably
The Sony Spider-Man villain movies always felt like them throwing everything against the wall for cringey IP cash grabs. It's more surprising that Spider-Man isn't a big part of marketing - "Before Kraven fought Spider-Man..." etc
Dan Cameron
I plead that the Next On be added to the Weekly Plugs section instead. It’s a thing I miss out on listening to often because I bank the movies I haven’t seen for a later listen.
hexum311add
They do crap on it
Papool Chaudhari
No spoilers, but in a future Marvel film you WILL see reference/explanation to the giant hand in the ocean from Eternals. It isn't being ignored.

The carryon inconvenience thriller talk reminds me of that moment we had Cellular and Phonebooth. Remember that time yall? We need one of those again but for TikTok or Twitter.
Chris Cameron
Potential “Carry On” sequel titles… “Carry On 2: Gate Check”… or go Live Free or Die Hard style with “Keep Calm and Carry On” … My personal favorite sequel title game to play is based on Fast and Furious… “2 Carry 2 On”
Graham
But is ‘Carry On’ a Christmas movie?
mepotts
Disappointed no one took the opportunity to use “the titular carry-on”. Thought Dave would be all over that.
Harish Narayanan
sigh... can't escape DFADs even in my podcast consumption... (jk you know I love you guys!)
Shaun Colón
It’s fixed!
AJ Karim
Was excited to hear Jeff and Devendra absolutely crap on Kraven - I wonder what happened, David must’ve uploaded something wrong
Luke Johnson
It's all funkopops now
