There's a very funny train scene in the movie Top Secret! from 1984. I think the movie industry, and especially the theatrical experience is doomed for sure. I go to the movies almost every week, I see probably 6-7 movies in theaters every month on average, and the theaters are almost totally empty. I go on weeknights to avoid crowds, but there is a local AMC close to me (in Los Angeles, near where Jeff used to live), where I look at showtimes around 7 at night and see nothing but almost totally empty theaters every single day. What has really convinced me that movies are doomed though is that I have a group of about 10 people I've been friends with for about 25 years who are all huge movie buffs who simply do not see hardly anything anymore. These are people who could quote hundreds of movies to you, who can name screenwriters, directors, and even minor actors from any movie you can think of, and many of these people even went to film school at USC, and they simply don't see new movies anymore. I saw them last month after the Oscars and was stunned that none of them had seen more than about 3 of the Best Picture nominees (and that includes Barbenheimer). We used to always go see movies together and talk about movies when we would get together, but for the last couple years if I ask them if they've seen anything good, they often talk about old TV shows. If I ask them about any recent movie, odds are good they may not have even heard of it or know anything about it. And it's not cause there's nothing to see, or because there's a lack of good movies being released, as there are great movies coming out all the time. The problem is most people haven't heard of any of them and don't go to see them, so they get quickly pulled from theaters and are unceremoniously dumped on streaming somewhere to be undiscovered by most people. Movies have been a big part of my life ever since I was a kid, but I look around and see an art form that is in dire straits. I don't know how it can survive like this unless there are drastic changes real soon.

I'm not sure if this was a joke or not, but that wasn't Alan Ritchson, it was Daniel Cudmore who played Colossus in X2, X-Men The Last Stand and also Days of Future Past.

I’m with Devindra…the original Omen is just okay. It has a healthy layer of cheese that keeps me from ever taking it seriously. Gregory Peck is slumming and not very good in it. I do think Goldsmith’s score is excellent though, and the scene with “it’s all for you, Damien” is creepy. But I’ve never considered it a classic and it does feel like an also-ran on the heels of The Exorcist
