We didn't have that problem.. admittedly we are addicted to Creepio and know every line and inflection to death. ;)

Yeah we were conscious of that and worked hard so that wouldn't be the case as much as possible, but in the end we were satisfied with the distinction. Can't win them all!

I like how you mostly played it straight but had some solid humor mixed in throughout. That almost could have been part of the original script.

You frickin' trippers! Love the pace, love the subtlety, love the voice, and the ending is as exuberantly Star Wars as the first time I saw it, Glad you did not combine R2's close-up with Creepio and thank you as well for using the original cut :)

I'm sure originally R2 and Chewie were both intended to have lines, but I don't know that I've ever read or seen an interview where they discussed how or why the decided to make two major characters unintelligible. Not only unintelligible, but then to have another main character constantly explaining their indecipherable 'dialog.' Like at some point, Anthony Daniels had to say, "wait, you want me to do all of my lines, and then all of the other guy's lines now too but instead i'm explaining that he really said something that he didn't? Oooooookaayyyy...."

Fantastically done, as with all of your work. I would gladly watch the entire first trilogy with R2's voice dubbed as an alternative track á la "Wizard People, Dear Readers." Or perhaps a showdown between this more verbal and cheeky version of R2 and Creepio.

Wow! How weird is that? I've definitely heard of these guys, but I feel like it's been maybe 10 years since I've seen anything from them. I mean, it's really really really weird that they did something recently that we've been planning to do for months. Kind of don't know how to feel about this.

Apparenlty the first 48 hours a video is posted on Youtube have a huge impact on its overall performance, and making it unlisted for the first 24 has played havoc with the algorithm. Frozen view counts, disappearing from search results, and in some cases the loss of thousands of views. We don't pretend to understand it, but Vimeo is an excellent alternative. Also, did you catch it this time?
