Best of the Worst is such a great show. I think only Colin from Canada knew about the genius of Gymkata when they watched it.

Also, I don't get the sense that these guys grew up with Gymkata in their lives, passing through the cycle of watching it because you thought it would be awesome, being confused because it wasn't, trying to figure out WHY it wasn't, and then obtaining a sense of cynicism and enjoying the film on a whole new level. You don't just get to walk into Gymkata with a fully developed self awareness!
Auralnauts
Oh wow! Apparently the spear scene resonated with everyone. I forgot he was in the middle of talking about anti-American sentiment and was about to reassure them it would be alright.
RLM skewered it pretty well on Best of the Worst, but I'm sure the 'nauts could do something cool with such a campy classic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4HOlhADlZo

Funny to hear another group of people that felt that armpit stab. I still cringe a little just thinking about it.
JTruts
Seems like a gold mine for your genius then - except too many people probably don't know about it...
Auralnauts
To this day Gymkata is one of the most disturbing, confusing 80s action movies to date. My favorite part is when their guide is almost immediately impaled with a spear upon being introduced to them.
Auralnauts
Haha glad someone appreciated that!

P.S. Gooble Gobble, ONE OF US! ONE OF US! BRING AURALNAUTS A LOVING CUP! A LOVING CUP! (Nice touch with the quick Freaks shout out)

Gosh darn it... I really, really <3 you guys.
David Anderson
Love it! It's going to sting putting on deodorant after that armpit stab.

"this sort of tactic would definitely finish off most fighters" hahahaha. this was brilliant. That flying crucifix was pretty beautiful. As far as others I'd suggest the Arnold v Arnold fight in Genisys or vs T1000 in T2. Anything from Crouching Tiger or Kill Bill, AvP's or Aliens end fights. Last Smith vs Neo fight in Revolutions, Die Hard McLane vs Karl. Gymkata's bizarre pommel-horse fight. Indiana Jones Last Crusade tank fight or Raiders mechanic fight, Robocop vs ED-209 (fucking stairs), Mace and his suicide squad friends vs. Palps, Superman vs tall buildings. I expect results by end of next week... :P

So good! Love the way you guys are mixing it up, theme-wise.

Great stuff! Keep 'em coming. Maybe some classic Shaw Brothers kung fu next? Or Aliens vs Predator?
That was pretty awesome! Didn't think it was gonna be as fun as it was when i started it, but damn you guys had me laughing good by the end!
Make a deposit, today!
All I can think now is Marvel vs Capcom with that "BESERKER BARRAGE!" catchphrase going off
Very enjoyable! :) You should do one on the very very draw-out fight from "They Live", haha. But maybe that's too obscure for todays audience.. maybe.
Gross!

Where are all the sponsors? The Roxxon Corp, etc?

Nice work! My only suggestion is that you add more awkward puns next time!
I just let you guys spoil Logan for me... and it was worth it! Great idea for a modular format. Maybe adding slo-mo replays between rounds or fighter interviews somehow would be an awesome addition for future FCCs.

Oh yes. I like this. Who to do next? T-800 v T-1000? Inigo Montoya v the Six-Fingered Man? MacLeod v the Kurgan!!!
