I encountered the same issue (if I understood well) : in the "weird" store, if I try to talk to the guy with the purple coat : it doesn't work. He just look towards me and don't say a word. I also met an other bug : i enhanced the house to have an upper floor, I see the stair but cannot access the floor. Thank you very much and good luck. =)
Can you describe to me a little better how it happens, maybe with an image?
