Week 04# - Working on the game interface (comcept art)
🕑 Added 2022-02-09 10:45:07 +0000 UTCHey!
These weeks I've been working on the development of the game menu, it hasn't been easy at all and I haven't finished it yet but I'm going to put a few images so you can see the progress.
The first thing has been to decide what things I will put in the escape menu, and those are the following:
Zones: It will show an image referring to each important zone next to its name, when entering each one of the zones (from the menu) we will be able to see information about said zone, the things that are done, the hours of the place and more personalized information.
This option is the most developed I have, here you can see how it looks:
Inventory: To see the items you own, including diapers, clothes, etc.
Status: I plan to show the status of the character, if he needs to wash himself, if he is bored, if he needs to eat and drink, basically things related to the character.
Finances: This section is dedicated to the economy section of the game, the money you earn a week working, what it costs to rent the house, electricity, water, food, etc.
Volume: Only to change the volume of the game
Save: To save game
Game Exit: To exit the game.
This is a task that is taking me a long time but that I see as very necessary. Having an intuitive and beautiful menu is very important. In addition, these days I have also been working on the construction mechanics and tilesets, I will show you this in other posts.
