Yeah, I wanted to love Polite Society. But I found its shifting tones to be jarring rather than organic. It almost was like watching two different movies in a way. Because of that I ended up only liking it similar to Jeff and David.

Jeff and Devindra definitely meant that being a parent means no time for listening to music... getting old in itself doesn't always do this. Bc as a married 42yo w no kids... I have plenty of time for music or new music (yes I know Grimes 😆) and more. It's a very selfish yet fun life ✌🏻😅 but I am glad I have nephews and nieces, just not any kids of my own
