Silent Scream

Here's something I wrote up to accompany it!:
Kenny clenched their jaw, rage swelling and bubbling beneath as their bicuspids grazed across one another in aggressive anticipation. They convulsed, shaking, their breath growing as short as their temper before... it ceased. The rage subsided, their expression was replaced with that of nullity.
"K-Kenny?" Twi said, at a distance. He lifted himself and started to approach them, but Viren's hand aggressively gripped his shoulder. His expression was cold, methodical, and held something that Twi had never seen: Fear.
"Don't." he said shakily through low trembling breaths. "Don't approach them, not now."
They say that emotions are energy, and energy can be transmuted. Many individuals use their more chaotic feelings to paint beautiful art, or write songs that convey their despondency, and perhaps if Kenny had even a smattering of self control over their more complex and intense emotions the events that were about to transpire could have been avoided.
Twi arched a brow in confusion and turned his attention back onto Kenny, who's posture started to lean backwards, as they repeatedly clenched and then released their fists, their palms sweating enough that droplets begun to hit the floor around them with each release. Their breathing slowed, air calmly escaping their lips before their eyes widened, as if they had snapped to attentiveness. Their iris’s were replaced with familiar clocks, and the accompanying timepiece on their collar looked up to them knowingly, then forward, prepared to tackle the next steps before them. Kenny begun to groan in pain, a similar low growl to that of a stomach ache or a nasty hangover, but the accompanying metamorphosis did not match the casual nature of their response. Their jaw unhinged and started to grow wider and wider, more teeth sprouting from their gums and long fangs taking the place of their usual canines. Their expression was that of pure agony and terror, but they appeared trapped, a victim of some unseen hand molding them into something nefarious and out of their control. If only they had known that the hand that shaped them was that of their own.
