Yeah it’s a weird way to say it isn’t it? In the English version the idea is putting yourself (or the person you’re talking to) “down” and the person you’re not talking to “up”. Also you have an extra “I assure you that” in there now ;)

THANX!!! In italian, we have the same expression, but we use it with the opposite meaning. "My league" is something exclusive, where only exclusive people can stay in, So when I say to someone that he's out of my league, I'm saying that he must stay out because I don't consider him worthy of staing with me inside it. °__°

Gotta reverse that big guy- “you are and will always be out of his league” would mean Alan was “better”. You want Marcus to say “I assure you that he is and always will be out of your league”
