i dont think its so much that everyone has a camera all the time and will take pictures of you, its that everyone has a camera all the time and will take pictures of you and can post them to the internet for the entire world to see. the modern day aversion to being photographed i think has a lot to do with the existence of the internet, people arent just keeping those pictures for themselves and possibly future archivists they can take those pics and immediately share them with millions of people at once and that's a WAY bigger invasion of privacy. its no longer just one guy invading your privacy anymore

this vid making me want to start using the film camera i got for my highschool photography class, i have it lying around somewhere. that was a pretty cool class we developed our own photos in the darkroom and everything. there rly is something so cool about having just the physical object of the photo and the film negatives, its not data its a real object I'm holding
