That pronunciation took me aback, too. Maybe only Midwesterners can properly pronounce it? (even though Pittsburgh is closer than Chicago)

I got some friends to go to the Duquesne Incline once when we were going to a drive-in in Vandergrift to watch eight horror movies over two nights, and everyone was kinda nonplussed that you literally just go up the incline and then back down it, and there's not really anything to do at the top OR bottom of it.
