One thing I want to point out is, and this may be because I am admittedly an f86 saber simp, is that the f86 did have a couple notable features that the famous defector was kind of shocked at when he got to sit in the cockpit of one. The first was heating, and the second, related, was a much better cockpit canopy de-icer. It was kind of an interesting scenario, because while the mig definitely had Superior performance and most aspects of flight, in terms of the crew, the pilot of a mig was generally going to be under a lot more stress from the low temperature and other fleshy limitations than the pilot of an f86.
