The one problem with the BMP one, that kind of makes it not an optimal IFV, is the fuel door. And what I mean by that is the fact that the rear door for the vehicle acts an auxiliary fuel tank. This is a problem because they did not armor the rear door, particularly well. as a result, Afghani fighters and Chein fighters knew the target rear of the BMP. Russians, a lot of times would throw sand or dirt inside this rear fuel tank to help mitigate the risk, but they would also by doing so cut down on the range of the ifv. Plus, the BMPs were notoriously cramped. Much like a Bradley. Basically, the best infantry caring vehicle is a Toyota hilux with a tonno cover. https://www.iwm.org.uk/history/the-bmp-1-belongs-in-a-museum-why-is-it-still-being-used-in-ukraine If you read the transcript for the video, they’ll discuss the BMP fuel door issue.

No need to “press X”. Just google search “Bradley vs Russian tank.”

Is there no visual edit for this yet? Dunno how this works lol

A TOW on a Toyota is better and cooler than a bradley and I'll fight about it.

Since a Bradley killed a Russian tank in combat, I am not sure this episode was correct for being so harsh on it.

I once downloaded one from a C-17 at AAS and went joy riding around the airfield.

I love the show, great job guys. Sadly its so niche and weird, that other people ( mostly my roommates) look at me weird when i listen to the pod on speakers. Buts thats really more their problem then mine. Keep up the nice work. BTW: Where do you prefer to get safety third stories? I think i have a nice one from my time working at a ship yard.

Also Hollowmen, the failed first attempt at the series, has some good episodes.

My grandfather flew in one of those erector set looking helicopters for medevac in korea. He was the poor truck driving private volunteer to lay on the gurney supports as ballast to even out a dude going back. He said the mountains looked incredible, and it was the scariest thing of his life. He had had his truck mortared out from under him by the Chinese leading up to this.

I dunno if its been mentioned before, but if you are interested in infrastructure projects in australia, which is in the southern hemisphere south of asia, check out the show Utopia. (Netflix, abciview.com.au with a vpn) Its about as accurate a depiction of how these are carried out here as it gets. Its so far up the WTYP creek itll rock your liam. It has trains for roz and policy for our sweet baby angel. Love yoose, thanks for the audio cut eps which are great for driving in a normal sized country. Xx

Dragons: A Sufficient Resolution to the Issue of Horses Existing
Simeon
Of course it's not a tank, as we all know now it's a lightly armored jeep!
Peevish Giraffe
The way that the whole "what do the horses do" thing was usually resolved with dragons is that every 4th guy would be on horse holding duty. So you'd be losing 25 percent of your combat strength to making sure the horses don't freak out and run directly into the line of fire.

the thing is, now we know it works because of Ukraine, making this episode a thing that may or may not be correct.
The Curious Case of Caley V
Barely even an IFV 🤷🏻♀️
