Reminiscing 2019

It's that time of the year - and while we are planning for our content for next year, we thought we'd take a moment to reminisce on some of the moments we spent in 2019:
- Three hours away from Tokyo, wandering through the Capcom headquarters building and the streets of Osaka with the creators of the company's major two hits of the start of 2019: Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2: Remake.
- A day out with NieR series composer Keiichi Okabe, spending time in his studio between a walk in the park and a drive at night, also the chance to cross paths with Yoko Taro during an exclusive concert in Tokyo; it was the perfect way for us to end the toco toco series.
- Twenty years later, listening to eight stories from another time with the creators from the Dreamcast's most unforgettable titles: Crazy Taxi, Ikaruga, Jet Set Radio, SEGAGAGA, Rez, Seaman, Skies of Arcadia & SoulCalibur.
- 2019 marked a change in our team, after Anne stepped away from video in order to pursue new endeavors in Asobu; Archipel is now running as a two-man team.
- Although maybe lesser known, we truly enjoyed our time off the coast to Iki island or following designer Yacoyon in the world of board games makers, without forgetting our conversation with 17-BIT's Jake Kazdal around an amazing curry and our encounters made at TGS 2019.
- The chance to see first row the work of three mangaka, contemplating Shinichi Sakamoto's collaboration methods refined like clockwork, Atsushi Kaneko's anticomformist style & lively DJ set, and Shaman King author Hiroyuki Takei's melancholic tone, in his studio full of treasures.
