This episode was more like a part 2 of the pilot, but we've finally kicked off! The crew has set off for the North Pole and the journey begins! Also despite being only the second episode I agree that the fight choreography was pretty good. A cool thing on the design philosophy of bending is that each type of bending is heavily based on some type of martial art, which is reflected in the movements characters make when bending. Firebending is based on Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. Waterbending is based on Tai chi Airbending is based on Baguazhang Earthbending is based on Hung Gar It's cool to see all the real world inspiration for this show.
