Regarding Hollywood's obsession with insanely huge buff dudes, I do think it's starting to turn around with people like Rob Pattinson and Timothee Chalamet, arguably two of the biggest "heartthrobs" now. Timothee didn't look like he gained a single pound of muscle for either Dune or The King, two movies in which he ostensibly plays a badass warrior character.

LOVED your conversation about transcendent scores paired with mediocre films. Certainly agree with your assessment of Tron: Legacy and its excellent score. A couple of others I'd mention: Man of Steel - the movie is fine, but holy shit that score is jaw dropping The Village - if the movie was as good as the score it would be regarded as an all time masterpiece Terminator: Dark Fate - a true masterpiece of sound design and orchestral work paired with a movie that doesn't deserve to exist
