The movie is taking a shot AT the haters of The Last Jedi. Because Ritchie at the end mentions how much he hates the last Stab film (which was established earlier to be Stab 8 directed by the Knives Out director) and he hates how he's referred to being a part of the toxic fanbase (that hated Stab 8), AND defends his toxicity as love from the fans of the franchise. I love how there's an interpretation of this film that it's suggesting the TLJ haters (specifically from reddit) were toxic.

Hey David, was wondering if you tried watching Love is Blind Japan? IMO it’s a lot better than the American counterpart and for the most part eliminates what I assume you thought of as the “trashy” element of the American one. Would be interested in your thoughts if you also see them different or more of the same?
