A lot of music venues are requiring patrons to show proof of vaccination to get in. Venue owners and musicians are scared to go back to no work. They probably can pull that off easier because many are only 18+ unlike movie theaters.

This episode affected me deeply and I really empathize with your rage against not just the idiocy of fighting masks and sensible public health regulations but also CHOOSING not to take a safe, life-saving vaccine. I currently live in Sweden; people generally take the vaccine here (although there is a anti-vaxx segment of the population too) but the country at large has chosen to largely ignore the virus and real restrictions since the virus broke out. Nobody is wearing masks, there are few restrictions, there was never a real lockdown. Inevitably, the virus is ripping through nursing homes and beyond. I’ve had several colleagues who’ve caught the virus because there were outbreaks at their daycares and schools. It’s insane. It really feels like misinformation was the real disease all along.
