Maybe my reply was deleted or I forgot about it. He talked more about it in the comments. Yes, there's the set-up, but it's more about the dramatization in the episode. "Again, the FEELING you want to create is 'OF COURSE' Not someone just showing up."
I love the fact that the Mando just leans into its fan base instead of telling life long fans to kick rocks . Mando has just made me even more sad thinking about how terrible Picard was/is. The greatest thing is seeing a show that can attract new fans while keeping existing fans excited. It’s the exact opposite state of Star Trek right now.

Film critic hulk is ignoring what happened in episode 6 , where Grogu did that mediation force field on top of that ancient Jedi temple . To me It looked like he did that to call on a Jedi or one that can sense the force. If people don’t believe that , then the force field thing is still unexplained.
