With regard to the discussion surrounding the polite picnic conversation between Davies and Mank, I just want to point out that Mank tried to make the point - multiple times as I recall - that Susan Alexander was not meant to be Marion Davies exactly. Not just to Marion herself, but to others that commented upon the Susan Alexander character in the script.

Listening right now so maybe you address this but what format / service did you watch it on? I'm seeing HD on Apple and wondering if that is the remastered version.
