Monthly Expansion - UMBRA: Cyberspace
🕑 Added 2021-08-27 13:59:23 +0000 UTC
Hello Commander.
I have troubling news.
It appears that our enemies have discovered that our digital defences are… inadequate.
If they are allowed to enter our cyberscape unchallenged, they will be able to:
• Shut Down our Security Systems
• Take Over our Robotic Units
• Open our Barricades
• Lock our Units in their Rooms
• And worse
We must build up our cyberscape. Build defences, create programs, and be prepared to protect ourselves from them.
Good luck Commander.

This month's expansion is a deep dive into your colony's computer systems as your hackers set up a Cyberscape full of useful computer systems, programs, and defences.
With your Cyberscape you're limited to a 6x6 grid but can build as many Systems per turn as you can afford and have Hackers available for. That's right, our little code monkeys have more use now.
As you play, your Cyberscape will get attacked by digital threats deployed by ♠ Enemies. Pixelated thorns might prevent you from moving through a System or an entire grid space might get taken up by an annoying pop-up ad. Eventually making it a necessity to scrap and redesign.
As with all of these expansions Cyberspace includes:
* New Rooms - Like the 3D Printer and Influencers Quarters
* New Research - Gotta give your lab rats something to do
* New Artefacts - Mostly aimed at buffing your Programs with Aim_bots and Wall_hacks
and of course,
* New Terrors - With my favourite of the bunch being Marketing where it spawns 2 adverts in your Cyberscape and sprawls ad-related graffiti on your walls in the real world.
Have fun and I look forward to seeing your Cyberscapes in the Discord :)
edit: Fixed some unclear rules and reuploaded :)
