My dad took me and my brother there at least once a week because it was less than $5 per person for unlimited access to the salad bar. The New Jerseyan in me is compelling me to remind everyone that the cranberry bogs employ wolf spiders as natural pest control. So if you go in when they're flooded you go in with waders, you're the tallest thing around, so the wolf spiders will climb you to get out of the water and sometimes get in your waders. Also, the cranberry bogs have water moccasins which are a mean snake. So wade at your own risk

edit 3: it turns out I was so very stuck because I hadn't turned the lamp right side up... edit: i looked it up and I think I just haven't found the mannequins yet soooo I can't get past the zodiac clock or the moon diary. I've been laboring under the assumption the diary is connected to the 1847 letters, and I have the moon calendar for 1847, but I can't put them in an order that unlocks the book (and there are only 4 letters for 5 inputs and the corresponding floppy discs offer no help) I've tried l everything I can think of. I think at this point in the story I'm expected to have already reached the cafe, since there are numerous items I have to use once I get there. I have card keys, horseman tokens, error codes, etc. The book confounds me though! And the zodiac clock...I mean, idk if I even have all the info for it yet but I feel like I must since I know so much at this stage. I've spent a lot of time on it but I'm not even sure what the clock is really asking. I don't want the answer handed to me exactly but I'm *really* stuck on both of those puzzles and any hint would be welcome if anyone reading this has played the game and can sympathize with this despair lol. I know the key here is often looking at things slant (I keep thinking of the emily dickinson line "tell the truth but tell it slant") but I can find the right angle, and I've spent an embarrassing number of hours on it. I'm afraid to google it because it might spoil other things. if you can help you have my endless gratitude edit: I tried using the menstrual cycle for the 5th moon because of the tampon, I also tried the moon iconography from the poster the third eye. still stumped
