What I love about Jake’s narration, among many things, is how he can clearly picture the room he is describing in intricate detail, and then can so eloquently describe it using a modicum of beautifully-chosen words. His narration is not flowery or verbose so that a listener gets lost in the room (or reception hall) that Jake is describing. His first description of a room paints a picture in my mind, and as the narration continues I see that everything is laid out for Jake just as I, a listener, had envisaged it. It is such a gift to so succinctly and beautifully describe a place so that your audience is right there with you. The Hemingway of DnD.

I would read any fantasy or science fiction novel written by Jake with these artful descriptions. I knew he was a writer but I had no clue his talent stretched so far into other genres. How seamlessly he can go between improvised comedy and back to a detailed fantasy world just goes to show how much experience he has.

Man I can NOT get enough of this campaign. It is so lovely to see Jake stretch his wings with DMing (doing a great job!), Murph on the other side of the table (able bring out his loose and playful side!), Lovvving both Caldwell and Emily's characters as well. It's got such a playful vibe (although a lot of that has to do with early campaign stakes levels).
