It is a comedy podcast and they've always been wildcards in their role play. Most episodes have big story moments that are bound with their goofiness and comedic relief. I think its just the same as any other episode they've done where they taunt their villains and the villains banter back on the same lines. It's always been this way frend

If you make a normal risotto, and poach Bnut squash in some good oil or butter, with aromatics, a little sage and thyme, reserve some of the liquid and solid squash, then use the liquid to help puree it, mix the puree into the risotto with the last bit of stock for color reduce, then mix in the solid squash, it'll be really really good, extra points if you make squash ribbons and fry them for garnish.

There’s a lot of time that has occurred from c1 to 3 and she was already a very…unsettlingly ambitious figure in c1, it begs to figure that she continued to develop that way. She’s also doing a lot of subterfuge of selfish moves covered up by others, and with the seeding of the bad green knights into cyrilla’s court and the prophecy she sees that only by consolidating power can the future she want survive it gives a lot of story support for her arc

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I gotta offer a thorn; I really didn't like Charbin being such a pissboy. Obviously he's a low status moron and he should be inelegant in defeat, but that really felt like a death of sincerity moment after we just learned of the tragic loss of the beastlands. It's like if the last 10 minutes of Empire Strikes Back were a Jar-Jar rap instead of stirring in defeat. I dunno, it's just hard to take any villain seriously if the moment they lose they become so entirely goofy and unrealistic.

However I thought it's kinda strange no one's talked about her development from being somewhat of an ally to the boob's to being the villain of this arc. Played in a game once where the GM had a lich cast maze on my fighter and I needed to spend the next 3 hours trying to roll a nat 20, Murph did a good job of still having things for the players to do when affected by the spell.
