Hello book buds (and Jake)! I was so inspired by the idea of March Sadness that I revisited all the old episodes and tried to come up with a mathematically accurate bracket (link here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17T1tRje5tP1_D_son3S0z8Gq3USVjzsLtr88INsL-sY/edit?usp=sharing). Shows/movies are seeded based on their A to J rating + general response, and I made both an elite 8 and sweet 16 version. Hope this helps make March Sadness a reality!

I recently went down an old tv rabbit hole with aesop & son (a 4-6 minute skit show that's part of Rocky and Bullwinkle.) It's terrible in a fascinating way. So terrible. So fascinating. One example of an episode: a tom cat falls in love with a chicken and she wants to be with him too but she's allergic to cats so they can't be together. they each, unbeknownst to the other, get a potion from a wise owl they're told to drink at midnight. The cat turns into a rooster and the hen turns into a cat. the cat (now rooster) is thrilled that they can be together but the chicken (now cat) says "why would i want to date a chicken?" and we learn that the hen just disdained chickens and wanted to be above them while the cat was just attracted to chickens, so they're both happier now. the newly minted rooster gets to live with a bunch of chickens he finds hot. other insane episodes include: the rooster and five hens, son of the masked clock, the fox and the winking horse.

The lack of a Nose is what makes Sourpuss upsetting to look at i think. Pac Junior's voice sounded like Freddy from Scooby-Doo and just was unexplainably Jarring the Witch was upsetting because of the steritypical witch nose but also Miles Pac made a note of the Ghost Monsters being an opressive force where they come from which is just a wild implication since the Ghost Mosters are also the Natives

one important line that yall failed to mention in the pacnic (did they ever even say pacnic??) episode was the very last line, said by one of the ghosts, out of nowhere, and with no visual cue: “ouch, you stepped on my toe!” truly inspired script 🤌🏼
