Regarding the D100 the double digit die determines the first number, and the single digit die determines the second number. So a 00 and 3 is 03. When it’s a 00 and 0 it is 100 because if it were 0 you would be rolling for 0-99 not 1-100. Rolling a 100 would be impossible otherwise

I NEVER do this but I had to say, re: the last Dungeon Court case of the ep: Magic Initiate (which I'm assuming is the relevant feat) doesn't let the player change out spells; they are treated as different from the prepared spells of the character. Unless that game is home-ruling that the cantrips can be switched out (which if that's the case you can ignore this, lol), then Mold Earth would always be availible.
