As a marine biologist, I absolutely was ENAMORED with your description of this underwater city and wish I could live there myself (my job would be so much easier!) Also I study a kind of lantern fish that lives in coral reefs (check out Frogfish!) so hearing y’all mention anglerfish the last few episodes makes me heart so happy ❤️

Emily I’m so happy that you love whale falls! I teach about it to my students because by the time all the scavengers are done with them, these really cool bone dissolving worms (Osedax - look them up!) take over with the help of their microbial symbionts :)
