Spaghetti Spawn

“Still going to the temple of Melora, still fighting the bullies in the tavern, still kind of connecting with Mishka,” still trying to kiss Shay! 😂

My life has also been DEEPLY effected by Shrek is Love Shrek is Life, you are not alone

Brianna M

Big kudos to Caldwell for the execution of this! Also a rose to Emily for Death on the Nile references.

Bobby Huggins

Okay I know I'm late to the party but TBH y'all are my favorite airplane movie (along with Dimension 20).

Darkrisky

The Duff is a great movie

Jeremy Voigtschild

I think Joe Dirt would be a good airplane movie

Katy Pedelty

I watched the first half last night as I flew home! I was like, this isn't bad! I'm enjoying it, too!

Olivia the Enchanting Bard and Jarod the soap opera cleric who are playing Stick it to the Man (down with the monarchy)

I actually really liked it

Olivia the Enchanting Bard and Jarod the soap opera cleric who are playing Stick it to the Man (down with the monarchy)

I'm more of a Bath&Body works candles person

Wyatt

https://youtu.be/dpNeAtMR1As this is for Jake Murph and Caldwell, enjoy this very good version of shrek

Katy Pedelty

Honestly I was about to watch Death on the Nile on a plane ride Thursday night, but decided to listen to this short rest instead-- I had pre-downloaded both of them. Then Emily blew my mind by talking about my in-flight entertainment plans!! (I know Death on the Nile is going to be terrible but I'm much more excited for my flight home now because I can be one of those people Emily is talking about.)

I thought the donkey was from pinocchio 😮I'm probably wrong tho 🤣

Hopscotch

My favorite Airplane movie is definitely the first one. Very funny, five stars

The Seasonal Goblin

This made me laugh out loud on a run

Ryan

Why did the RPG get nixed?

I found the cursed Shrek is Love Shrek is Life video. https://youtu.be/v9D4FtuyYaw

Jamie Matthews

My last international flight I watched the OG X-men trilogy from the 00s and they really are just as good as I remembered

Julia V

Recently watched Bullet Train and Everything Everywhere All at Once on cross country flights. It’s a disservice to EEAaO to watch it on a small plane screen, but it’s the first opportunity I’ve had to check it out. Congrats on five years! Been listening since day one and I can’t believe it’s been that long. Thanks for all of the hard work you all do, the inspiration you bring to my own ttrpg playing, and for consistently being my favorite podcast ❤️✨ cheers!

Jacob B.

I for one love the 2017 call back to the horse riding a horse bit from 8bbc

Skeletor's Caboose

Saw it in middle school a truly traumatic memory

Shelby Grice

I really hate that Emily makes me think about Shrek is Love Shrek is Life as often as she does. It's such a cursed animation.

BrethrenBlev

I’m introducing a skeleton NPC in my game named “Harvest Bones” Thank you for this gift

Nicolas Lee

Emily isn’t the only Shrek is Love Shrek is Life fan out there, there are dozens of us.

Martian

A million rose scented candles for the whole gang! Thanks for a great 5 years!

Ghost

I think Donky from Shrek is from pinocchio, that whole island of kids who misbehave and get turned into donkeys and are sold off. That movie got weird

LegoZmbeKillr

My airplane movie is Joe Dirt

Colin Kilzer

I love watching Disneys Atlantis when Im on the plane

Carmen Scott

it’s all ogre now. 🫡

Oh man I musta missed the news that the rpg game was out of production :( sad!!!

Jake kinda sounded like Patrick Warburton when he said "roll those Gal Gadot dice"

Piping Plover

Shrek is love. Shrek is life.

Aaron Thomas

I download the first 10 episodes of season 2 of Avatar the last Airbender when I fly

Michael Lawton

Talking donkey is from the Brementown Musicians

My literal job is to pick the movies and TV shows on planes so I enjoyed this immensely. Looking forward to seeing people’s picks. Want to know something horrifying. The top movie a year or two back was the remake of Baywatch…

Scott Pateros

Went to Hawaii earlier this year and watched a bunch of James Bond movies on the flight. Would recommend.

Zach Alexander

All of the Death on the Nile jokes are for me, Emily. An audience of one.

Jess D.

Shrek is love shrek is life 🙌

YourAnimeDad

Shrek is Love Shrek is Life watch at your own risk it is a very NSFW animation that is just a cornucopia of cringe and things you won't unsee

Aiyana

people definitely know what Shrek is love Shrek is life is, im pretty sure you just can't find it now because it is Not family-friendly and it was on youtube before the age of youtube kids and caring about family-friendliness

Jack

It's all ogre now

I figure Caldwell was joking about watching Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, but I was the Director/ Producer/ central office assistant on that! It’s genuinely a beautiful story, Oscar nominated, and the folks who made it are some of the loveliest, funniest people I know. Please check it out!

I’ve now watched The Martian three whole times on flights. Dunno what it is about that movie but it’s like the perfect flight movie for me.

At the prime age of 13 I was stuck on a tour bus FILLED with my mother, grandmother and all of grandmas gal-pals; the movie chosen to be blasting through the entire bus was Magic Mike. That day I learned many things…

Nicholas

I love going back and listening to season 1 but is there any way they could be posted to the short rest feed? The first three episodes of trinyvale are also not on the short rest feed and there is no ad free version of them. I love the show!

Alana Ochoa

favorite plane movie is gone girl

Danny C

A recommendation for Brewster’s Millions with Richard Pryor for a movie about having to spend a lot of money in a short amount of time.

Ilana Galpert

Emily not knowing if Yankee Candles is real makes this episode so much funnier "I don't even know if Yankee Candle is a store" "It is" "Let's assume that it is" "It is..."

Kozak

I’m confused; where is the new hotboy summer episodes that Caldwell refers to? I’ll I ever heard was the original seven episodes from 2020.

AstraHorn

When I started listening to NADDPOD 5 yrs ago, I was freshly moved to Kansas City, in an abusive relationship in a bad apartment and this Podcast got me through the really dark times. Now I have a job that's been the most supportive place and I'm paid well, I rent a duplex with my best friends and have been for 3 yrs now. Progress in increments feels great. Thank you NADDPOD and thank you fellow Naddpoles!

Agiddysea

Starting beef between Naddpod and Worlds Beyond Number (WorBN?)

Yelhsa W.

I'm waiting for the update where Emily finally rewatches Shrek is love and realizes what she's been referring to this entire time...

Mich Blackie

The Castle is a classic Australian movie that I would highly recommend watching on the plane to get yourselves ready for our vibrant culture ❤️

The Lost Kingdom with Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe is a great airplane movie.

Anthony E.

If you look it up don't watch it at work, or around kids. Probably shouldn't watch it in a supermarket parking lot like I just did either for that matter. lol
