The gardner said you wouldn't find a manor by the name of Bly, implying that she changed the names while telling the story. Flora's middle name comment implies she chose to call the character Flora so as not to make it obvious because remember, the kids forgot Bly, Jamie didn't want to change that and bring out trauma, but she also wanted to honour Dani's sacrifice by telling them about her.

I'm always up to watch more of the Flan man's work! Midnight Mass is currently in the latest TV poll and it's doing pretty well 😅 Super excited to check out his own original work, didn't know that!!

if no one has recommended it yet, i would heavily suggest watching midnight mass! another mike flanagan work i watched for the first time recently and have watched multiple times since. its a phenomenal example of his talent as a filmmaker and writer, as it’s (i believe) his first fully original work, not being based on any other.
