The Mavrus Chronicles - Ep 1: Hot Boy Summer (w/ Zac Oyama)

Summer Tribe

Why do they give the name bon frères such a hard time? Outside of the horrific pronunciation it's a good pun with bonfire. It's a good joke for them to give him a hard time about it after the fact but before the nat 1 why even ask for disad. Also the music playing during the bar intro reminds me of katamari damacy music. Idk how to line break on a phone. Emily hitting a 20% credibility on the masc voice is endearing.

On my 4th listening of Hot Boy Summer. Still as solid as Carl.

Lucas

I gotta beg to differ. Maybe it's different in some areas of the world. Where I'm from those types of venues are for more established artists, or the "money" is barely enough to pay for parking. But hey.

Summer Tribe

I've been to several open mics and different locations that have made the musicians involved some money, dunno what emily is talking about

SeeYouAnon

Dude, Where's My Carl?

Darth_Xionn

Bon frère shirts when?!

Couldn’t listen to this while working out because I was laughing so hard!

William

They should deff say bruhumia in the intro. Absolutely loved this episode.

Adam Sutton

I really think this is the funniest episode of NADDpod ever. Bravo Emily and the boys! CANNOT wait for the 2nd episode!

I like to think that Mavrus's Otterbox is just an otter holding his speaking stone.

Andre Andrade Braga

And is such a lively town! Wish i could be there to complain about these "pesky teens"

Andre Andrade Braga

I was so hyped waiting for this episode because Emily is such a great player, caring for her character, her brilliant mind when comes to engaging and resolving problems in DnD, that i was worried that i was expecting too much from one episode. Then comes DMily and surpass and perverted all of my expectations. Thank you 2D gang for sharing this with us.

H-Train

tiefling. specifically, he has horns that swoop like bangs

*3 characters, don't forget the masterpiece that was JV

Sawyer Rogers

Lads! Lads! Lads!

Amiss Baucum

So insanely good. Emily is such an amazing DM and this episode lit me up! All the guys play “bro-y” characters almost too well!

ShezInJapan

I'm picturing Hungry Dave as King Shark but specifically from the Harley Quinn animated show. Just a giant shark faced bro in like a hoodie or a tank top. Also, we've seen Emily and Murph and Zac as different characters from Drop Out but it brings me so much pleasure to hear Caldwell and Jake do more characters. Especially Jake, whom we've only heard as 2 characters, whereas Dunkie Caldwell has done SO many voices.

DarkMysteryCat

I love these good good garbage boys! DMEmily is a blessing, I love the worldbuilding (townbuilding?), it really feels like an open world to explore

Michael K Merkle

Such a great start I can't wait to see what happens next
