Question for any DM's out there; Is using an item different from an object interaction? I'm thinking about making a rogue Thief subclass and at level 3 it allows it to use a bonus action to use an item (Fast Hands ability). Am I misunderstanding the purpose of that ability?

EM AND MURPH! My room mates and I had a bird nest literally on our door (over christmas, it nested in our wreath it was amazing at first) if you want to help, just see if you can find food to give to baby birds in the mother's stead. Ours went away for 2 days and they all died (seemingly of hunger...) while she was gone. It was heart breaking. She came back and started calling constantly, for days. We suspect she was a first time mother and either struggled to find food or figured they'd be fine for 2 days. It got real gross. I won't give any more in-depth information on the necrosis of baby birds.

Love that Murph and I both thought about DBZ as soon as Caldwell brought up the absorbing scene. However I was thinking of how Cell absorbed people and the Androids not of Majin Buu. But the fact Buu could turn his enemies into chocolate bbs makes as much sense.

When I had a watch stolen out of my locker in 7th grade, instead of feeling bad or whatever my dad got mad at ME and said he'd never buy me anything that nice again. So I completely understand why Murph would be hesitant to hypothetically tell his dad about the stolen shoes lol
