While I do completely understand your disappointment, I feel like given the amount of time with the characters and overall investment, they decided to do it with those characters we know in order to increase the stakes and keep us engaged with the characters.

Is this really a One-Shot tho? It's more like a non-canon episode. A One-Shot is completely new characters playing an entire story in a single extra length episode that is usually like 3-6 hours long. You guys said last year that you'd play the actual DK characters last year when it was first brought up. I'm kinda disappointed :/
