this is just my opinion so don't take it too seriously, but I don't think Thiala knows Ilsed isn't Ilsed yet and that's why she is just gathering power to fight Ilsed's army rn, and we don't know where Thiala is planning to battle Ilsed, too. So a battle in hell could still totally happen. And I think if they destroyed the All Caster/phylactery in Gladeholm, Gladeholm would fall/be in chaos because that device is maintaining the whole levitation stuff? I don't think they want to sacrifice Gladeholm

This arc reminds me so much of shadowfell with Murph trying to show and demonstrate why hell is bad and the boobs(mostly moonshine) trying to see the best of it

Two things I wonder : - Why not send Thiala to confront Akaroth in the 9th circle? Sure they can't clash in the Material or they would destroy it, but who cares if they destroy hell (although the 1st circle would be missed) - Failing that shouldn't they go to Gladeholm and purify or destroy the artifact he's using as a phylactery which allows him to control several bodies? Without it he's mostly fucked, and his godlike hollow bodies won't be functional.
