Post "Submit Questions for Tomorrow’s Short Rest! (9/17/19)" by "naddpod"

Alexander J Taylor

What do you miss the most about your old episodes

Can you guys talk more about your characters current cool abilities after leveling up? You haven’t really talked about it recently.

Brian Matthew

Bonus question! I just discovered the joy that is 8-Bit Book Club, which begs the question — will John Elway (the cursed sword) ever have a revival? #Gexy

Brian Matthew

Caldwell, what are your tips for transitioning from player to DM? As the Trinyvale campaign continues, your DM skills just keep getttjng stronger and stronger. And then the reverse question for Murph... did you have a difficult time letting go of the DM role for the campaign?

Kestrel

I know Jacob’s expressed interest (Julia doesn’t D&D), but the logistics are rough because they’re in NY

Joshua Qualls

Caldwell, could you ever convince Jacob and Julia from drawfee to come on the show as guests in the trinyvale campaign?

Also, Murph, can you do Galad's "For the light" line? It's my favorite thing

Jesymka

OH! Bonus question! Have you finally purchased or gone back to using a power cable for your H4N or are you still living on the edge with the battery pack solution you mentioned on a previous short rest!? (As someone who works in a teaches in this field, my heart went out to you so hard.)

Jesymka

Murph, as someone who enjoys rules and classic fantasy, what's it like to play in such a zanny, shenanigan filled campaign? Emily and Jake, what's it like to let your whimsy run wild in such a wacky fun world?

Anyone hop on the classic wow train?

Nicholas

Damn that’s harsh

Whalen Abbott

Balnor v. Keychain in a 1v1 fight. Who wins? (If they were both at the same level)

Xymel

Did Caldwell plan from the start for mercurio to be murdered at the end of this plot thread or did the story evolve this way when the group wouldn't give up the orbs and he became violent?

Enahs

Can you guys quickly create a couple NPCs for us to use in our own games?

Enahs

Any tips on making a villain that a party really despises and is motivated to bring down?

Erik

@Caldwell and Murph What are some of your tips for being a good dm? I love how different styles your both DM so wondering if you could help a new DM starting out! (:

Erik

ALSO hey are you guys ever gonna have a show in LA?

Erik

What’s some of your favorite moments so fare on the show?

JaycobJoh

As the podcast is winding down to the final showdown, has anyone begun thinking of other characters to play in the next campaign, specifically jake trying a more intricate class, like wizard, or are you focused on the current campaign

Is there possibility for non canon crossover episodes with other DnD Podcasts like The Adventure Zone or Dungeons and Daddies?

Is Moonshine ever gonna get some?

So since jens was related raster von vineheart would that in turn mean that he is the last to succeed the von vineheart name too?

Kestrel

The NY liveshow was not (officially) recorded

I recently started re-listening to the podcast and the early hearthside chats and it was really interesting how much stuff everyone guessed about the future of the campaign that ended up being true and how different everyone's players have become. If you could go back and give some advice to each of you at the start of the campaign from your perspective now what would you say?? (Also my last name is pronounced Eagle like the bird ppl get it wrong a lot lol)

Who are everyone's favorite villians and NPC's in trinyvale also Cadwell which character do you have the most fun voicing and playing as the DM?

Liam Cornell

If your characters were to go to a skatepark who would ride what and how cool would they be at it

Will you be posting the new york live show? I need more Nathan Yaffe!

The Broox

What were your favorite parts of the tour?

Jeremiah LaForge

When the band of boobs calls on the fey wild for help will Hardwon and Moonshine reach out to the gnome that gave them the boat? You know the one they both made out with. Might be their last time for a hot romp in the time out sack before the end of the world.

Does Bev have a secret room that's filled with teeth. He made us think that he stopped collecting, but didnt..

BrassW

What kind of music does each of your characters listen to? (From both campaigns)

Princess Fartfeathers

Would you ever do a NADDPOD/Dimension 20 collab? How would that work? Who would DM?

Princess Fartfeathers

Who are your favorite 'ships in the naddpod universe? (can be Bahumia & Trinyvale crossovers, RPs & NPCs, etc) personally, I ship Hardwon & Mavrus

After Trinyvale ends, will Norwock be getting his own spinoff campaign where he see seeks to end his never ending horniness?

Murph, you mentioned how the most recent episode was sort of like a “red wedding” scenario. If the Band of Boobs could only save one NPC each (with everyone else being killed) who would they be?

Con

Jake, would you rather fight 10 Beverly sized Hardwons or 1 Hardwon sized Beverly?

Ryan Firth

Have you guys ever thought of making any part of your adventures into modules? I feel like Trinyvale would lend itself well to that especially, love the pod, keep up the great work 😁

Now that you've had Brennan, Zac, and Siobhan on the show, are there plans to get Lou and Ally to guest star as well?

Hey guys! Do you have any suggestion on how to find other players? I recently moved to a new city and to be honest I’m terrible at meeting people much less finding a crew to play with, any suggestions?

Scott Boegeman

During the NY live show, Jake admitted that Hardwon had an aunt fetish. Is this secret desire canon and unrevealed, or was it a side of Jake that came to light on the stage?

Jon Garcia

If the pod was ever given the video game treatment, what type of game do you think would be the best fit? An action-rpg? Traditional turn-based? Arcade beat-up up? The world is so robust it would be an amazing video game experience!

Michael

Of all things you've improvved before, what are you most proud of Murph?

how long did onyx and kieth get it on for? could jenns have read the entire book without nayak there, or was it so short he could've read only the first page?

Nathan Cartier, The assistant king to the assistant king of IronDeep, Hail to the Hammer!

From the location that you have visited/heard of where would you want to start the next bahoomia campaign (players murf if he wants to)

What has been your favorite part of the campain thus far and what are you going to miss the most once this campain comes to an end.

Do you think Ulfgar and Alanis will join our band of boobs to fight Theala?

Theodore Carraro

What are some of your dream DnD builds? ie a samurai or a mobster or something that you'd have a lot of fun with?

Trinyvale has some of the most fun settings to visualize! But as we see more and more of it, I find it harder to keep track of what is where. Would Caldwell ever put out a map of Trinyvale?

thedragonllama

What are y'all's favorite Final Fantasy characters, from any game in the franchise, and why? Additionally, which FF character would you play in a one-off FF DnD Campaign?

shrimpy_senpai

Trinivale boobs as cocktails??? : We mentioned before about cute and punny cocktails and drinks at the live show bars (PLEASE come to Texas) but I want to know what our trinivale boobs insired cocktails/ drinks would be! Please include blavin, keychain, and minicorn

Austin Gumbiner

Hey Boobs! What's the pod gonna be like once the main campaign is complete? Will there be a break in campaigns? Will Trinyvale become the main campaign while Murph develops the new one? Will there still be new eps to distract me from my bus commute?!?! Love the show and everything you guys do. Kalloo Kallay!

Hey Dad and Duncle + the kids - how do you manage breaks and session timing. I’ve just started a campaign for some people brand new and still haven’t found my stride with pacing of the session and it’s overall time. For a 90minute episode you upload how much is cut out for rolls and maths!? See you in London xx

Nicholas

What level paladin was Beverley’s dad? I image he was quite powerful because he was the leader of the green knights, but was he more powerful than someone like current day bev or MeeMaw

Just wanted to thank you for all amazing 40th on Friday

tacticalgrandma

What would happen if there was a total party wipe at a really pivotal moment, like the Queen Ezra fight or the Akarot duel? I can't see either of those letting the boobs live- would there just have to be an entirely new party? Or would Murph try to do something to keep them around?

Erin Paxson

What eventual campaign outcome in either Trinyvale or Bahumia are you most scared of?

I second having a show in St. Louis!!

Questions for all the boobs (Balnor included,) if you could have one, what would your Lair action look like?

Nick V.

Question for our DMs: what was your favorite spur of the moment decision you made mid game that made you go against your own plan, but made things a million times better?

Merrill Singer

Daddy Murph, when is the Donkey Kong one shot coming? I need my dummy thicc apes!

Ben Okin

Question for everyone: If you could add a character from any existing property (movies, games, books etc) to either of the campaigns, as a cameo or mainstay who would you choose and why?

Ben Okin

I figured she was inspired by granddaddy Brennan's showing as Deadeye

Hey Murph/Duncle, what do you guys do to prevent from railroading your players when you DM. I'm just starting and I'm pretty worried about this.

Zane

Jake, will you ever allow Obsidian to reap any rewards from her vocal lessons or are you going to just torture Emily forever?

Murph, what's it like to know that Caldwell is the better DM?

Is there a canonical layout for Jens' apartment?

J

I feel likeJens is growing closer to Nyack as the campaign goes on. Will they ever share an embrace of true brotherly love?

Kestrel

Toy refers to his size!

Kestrel

Caldwell, when deciding to kill major NPCs (e.g. Mercurio), do you roll for them? Or is it more just part of the story?

Mick C

Is Balnor actually just Seth from Hot Date?

What is your favorite moment to look back on during the campaign?

Across Bahumia and Trinyvale, who is in everyone's top 3 bachelor(ette)s?

Kaity Dameika

Is Obsidian a toy, like a doll, or does toy refer to his size?

Kestrel

To part of this question: there's an external sound mixer for Trinyvale, as well as a person besides Emily doing some of the music, which is why the sound design sounds different

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

Do you feel like Emily would whomp the party on the reg if she were to DM cause she rolls so well? (dice devil or dice christ?)

Mick C

DM question: how do I balance a fight with a low-level party that has like seven or eight people? I'm starting a neo-noir campaign and I'm having trouble with fights either being too easy, near-tpk, or the enemy ends up being a damage sponge

Kestrel

He's sad it was planned to be 12 episodes!

Mick C

Hey Sweeties, this is a question for Jake: how does Hardwon feel about being reincarnated? Is his transformation into a Half-Elf changing the way he sees his Identity? I don't think any dwarven NPCs have called him "Tall Dwarf" since he changed bodies, so did he just give off a dwarvier (more dwarvly?) vibe as a human? As tall as he was before, he generally seemed to think of himself as a dwarf. Also pls come to my town of 20,000 and do a show in my very small house. Tickets will definitely sell out, just saying.

Kestrel

Caldwell has said that the plan is for 12 episodes!

Dane Larson

How long is Trinivale going!? If you even know hah! I love both so I dont care ha!

Love the show❤ been watching since the hardly working days What's your favourite aspect you guys have developed for your characters personalities? Habits, traits, one liners etc

For Caldwell, when did you decide to have Karen be Keith's cousin, and were you worried that the RP might mess it up? I think at one point Jake said Karen was sitting on Keith's lap when piloting the mech, I was wondering if you tried to steer the RP to account for things the players didn't know, and if so how did you do it?

WolfRunner

Now Question! You all seem to play a lot of different campaigns for work and fun. Does it ever begin to feel like too much of a good thing? Do you get stuff mixed up between campaigns? What is or has been your favorite one to play?

WolfRunner

First off thank you for the amazing show. I randomly clicked it once despite never playing dnd or knowing much about you guys. Now I've binged it all and have started Fantasy High.

Honor Burke

What audio did you get from the tour?

Leslie Cedeño

I know with the Nannerfly Effects tour you had to pick only certain moments to ask "what if" for, but I've wondered about other "what if" moments and how they would've changed the campaign as a whole. The biggest two for me are, what if Bev had beaten the Krag and freed Bev senior from the get go, how the Galederon saga would have gone? and also, if Hardwon had chosen to let Gallad live back in the dungeon, how would that have affected the campaign? I know Murph mentioned that he'd originally intended for him to be like the BoB's arch-nemesis. It's always stuck in my mind, what the campaign would have been like if Gallad had been following them all throughout their adventures. Sorry for the long question!

BlurryVizion

I feel like Dunckle would love doing this for some reason 😂

Catalina Canales

Songs!! What song reminds you of your character, each other characters, npcs. And cladwell: what's the beverlin song? :D

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

When's the next live show(besides GB)!? Or will your focus be the last 25 eps?

Kelsey Crow

Any plans to do a live show in LA or the surrounding area? It'd be the perfect chance for Caldwell to defend his title of "Nastiest Lad in Silverlake." You guys rule, love you!

Michael Beck

What happened to Spectral Pawpaw? I miss the scramble ghost

Kodi Earnhardt

Question for the DMs: when improvising the result to an unexpected PC behavior, what main factors inform your response? For example, in the recent Trinyvale episode, Caldwell mentioned that when Rast went down way quicker than expected, you had to think of a way to get the exposition out regarding his relation to Jens' dad. It happened really well without sounding all "expositiony," what with Rast's crying signifying something worth investigation. What sort of things go on in your head when making a quick decision like that? For me it usually comes down to "how would the lore and mechanics of my world allow this to happen," that way it's still convincing, and I have a frame through which I can narrow down potential responses. What other techniques do you use? On a related note, how often do the storytelling decisions you make break the laws of your world, for the sake of the rule of cool, or just better storytelling?

DMCDawg

How is Murph able to properly control the pacing for the live shows to ensure that the gang can tell a full story and also keep it to the right length?

Jake, after paying a ranger and getting a taste for spells, are you interested in playing a more heavily magic based player in your next campaign? Are there other classes that the rest of the party is interested in playing next campaign as well?

Ashley Wilson

Question for everyone, if you guys could all have an evil campaign using the big baddy mommies and daddies of this campaign, who would you play? Cheating follow up question, who would want to DM this diabolical debacle?

My friends are wanting to start a campaign, and even though i've only played a couple campaigns and not even all the way through, i am the most experienced player as none of them have even touched a players handbook before, and that is the part that has me most concerned because i have had the most fun with DMs who are able to come up with different voices and accents for everyone we meet. Thanks guys!!!

Mixxuie

Up until now, while Trinyvale has been a vibrant world with a captivating vibe, the nature of the collection mission storyline has made the thrust of the story feel less dynamic than Bahumia. In light of... recent developments, are we seeing a transition to a more player-run story? What are the pros and cons of the different story types (mission, plot given to PCs versus PCs reaching for the plot) from both a DM perspective and the perspective of a player?

This isn't a trinyvale specific question, but i am wondering how murph and caldwell generally come up with the different voices and backstories for various non pc characters?

Melissa

How does Nyak feel about peanut butter?

Murph. If you were gonna create a character to join the band of boobs, what character type would you pick?

HellishRebuker, PhD

Question for Caldwell: You typically play Trinyvale only once a month, but you've been able to develop a strong, persistent mood and setting despite the more limited time compared to Bahumia. Any advice for a new DM on how to really sell developing the feel of a campaign world quickly?

David Guerrero

Would Jake or Emily consider DMing a campaign/one shot, or have they before? Also, any chance yall will visit Texas? Got some cool cons here too. Y'all rock

Kyle Taylor

If Emily or Jake were to DM for the podcast what kind of campaign do you think they would run?

Shane Murphy

Where do you get the combat music? Would like to use it.

It feels like the pacing and sound design are different for Trinyvale. How do those processes and decisions compare between the campaigns? Also, would you guys consider releasing your individual track recordings for fans to create their own sound designs?

Cain

Caldwell, how does it feel to be on the other side of a whomping?

Is Emily interested in DMing? She's so creative; I feel like an Emily DM'd one-off would be absolutely brilliant.

Dustin K

How do Murph and Caldwell generally prepare for their campaigns?

Daniel Unger

Do all of Emily's characters absolutely steal the show or just the ones we're graced with?

Mason McCauley

Have you decided on what campaign will follow the Bahumia one? Once Trinyvale wraps up, does Caldwell have any plans for future DMing? Also any plans for Emily to DM and let the boy crew play together? Much love!

TheNoodleDoodler

How did you decide the classes of keychain and Norwalk? Blaven was obvious

How does The Band feel about Moonshine X Hardwon (Moonwon)? Lots of us have seen a lot of sweet things between the two (multiple kisses, the reincarnation, ect) and it always seems like we are in a "will they, won't they?" situation and I'm curious about how you guys feel about it? Obviously it's fairly awkward between the players, which is why some of us who like the relationship are curious if it will ever be adressed or if it will stay a "will they, won't they"?

Caldwell, after Trinyvale wraps up, what's the chances of creating a Trinyvale module for listeners to try out at home?

Kestrel

They’ve talked about being interested, they just don’t have time currently!

Nyack, what is your favorite and least favorite flavors of jelly?

Aaron Thomas

Hey sweeties!! Just wondering if you guys would ever consider a Canadian tour for love shows?

Christopher Yono

What is the difference between Trinyvale and the main campaign? Like, is one a steak dinner and the other a creme brulee? I'm curious to hear from everyone and enjoy you all complimenting one another's work :)

Kestrel

They’re going to release whatever episodes had functional audio (NY was not recorded and ATL lost the ending, we don’t know about the rest), at least one of which will be Thursday’s ep

Zaq Williams

This may have been asked before, but Trinyvale and Bahumia are such cool worlds, would you guys ever be interested in doing campaign setting books for them?

Kestrel

No spoilers, but has there been any further thought or discussion on how Onyx plans on dealing with her patron issues?

Besides Keith finding her location, will Onyx’s massive Trinstagram following come into logistical play? Can her new patron be Kevin Trystrom, the founder of Trinstagram? Ps loved you in Crittsburg had an amazing timeeee

Kestrel

They said on the art stream a couple months ago that they were planning to hit level 20, and there’s a NADDPOD Discord already! (Link on the wiki)

Kestrel

Caldwell’s mentioned in the past that Suze doesn’t really enjoy playing DND, and Jill tends to be more of a behind-the-scenes person (and also lives in NY)

Abe C

Does Duncle Caldwell have more adventures planned for retrieval team 22 after they destroy the crystals? Or will we get an adventure with Emily as DM (aka Dungeon Mommy)

Kestrel

Nope, that backstory was a pretty late addition! He was completely randomly selected from the Deck

Kestrel

Emily, how does it feel to have finally fucked? Actual question: Trinyvale’s been very combat-heavy lately; how does it being monthly instead of weekly (usually) affect how you plan sessions in terms of combat vs RP as well as story beats? And also, you’ve said in the past that you were planning for about 12 episodes, is that still true?

I learned the other day that gnomes are (according to the Players Handbook and on average) taller than halflings, meaning that Bev has been probably smaller than all those untrustworthy gnomes, which I thought was hilarious. Just thought that could be an entertaining thing to think about. Love you guys.

Did balnor being the reason they suervived come before he was drawn?

Good Guy Josh

First thing to Onyx “up top” Caldwell and Murph, I am trying to DM A few sessions so my hard working DM can finally play the game. But I’m having trouble coming up with a plot that isn’t ridiculous, would you guys recommend a module, and if so which one. And I really hope Jens succeeds in becoming popular on the Internet #JensLyndelcomedy

Jerrid M

When can we have a Los Angeles live show!?

What was the main motivation behind the Keith and Onyx hookup this ep? Too many eps of buildup between the two? The trinstagram flirting reached its peak? Was Emily just horny and wanting to flirt with Caldwell like Jake in the last ep? It was hilarious and amazing and truly just wanted to kudos the two of you for some fun ass roleplay.

Caldwell, what was your inspiration for the gnomish technomech? Also, what were the other possible attacks other than the sword and the chomp?

Jerrid M

Question for behind the scenes of the podcast. What does the process look like from start to finish to complete a single episode for naddpod? How long doesn’t it take?

JBeev

TRINYVALE: If you were going to have a guest star on a Trinyvale episode, who would you want to include and what kind of character would you hope they play?

Rian

Something I’ve been really curious about: you guys have had guests, and Emily and Murph are married, but have you guys considered having Caldwell’s or Jake’s wives on for a guest appearance? I think that might be fun.

HexMix

Questions for Murph/Everyone: How was the tour? Which show was your favorite? Are you planning to release the episodes and if so, when? Loved y'all in Pittsburgh! Hope you come back sometime soon 😁

Joshua Qualls

Emily, I know that Onyx will be looking for a new patron soon, but might I suggest a matronly cameo from Maw Maw of the Crick?

Alison R

With the Eberron book coming out in November, are any of you excited to get a look at the artificer class? Also, are any of you interested in the next campaign having a setting similar to Eberron?

Jordan Sisneros

I know you’re the DM but Murph, if you were to roll a character to join the band of boobs what would you possibly roll and why. Also shout out too the 2 crew, haven’t played a session without my hoodie since I bought it!

Sarahtonin

I know for a moment the idea of Moonshine teaching Hardwon a cantrip was being discussed. Is there still a possibility of that happening? #splitcritcantrip

Victor T (Balnor's Boy)

Caldwell, what were your inspirations for trinyvale? What was your world building process like?

What's ol Cobb up to???

First time commenter, short time subscriber. This is a question for the campaign outside of the campaign (Life), what negative and positive effects has the shows had on your on your various relationships together?

Liam

While not story related: Murph, what's the name of the ambient music loop that plays during combat, and where did you get it? A friend of mine and I are each running campaigns and would love to use it.

Andrew Davis

To Everyone: You guys have great table chemistry and play off of each other really well. What are your recommendations for achieving that kind of dynamic at other tables?

Laura

Have you considered giving Erlin a girlfriend/boyfriend in irondeep to add more Bev drama?

Randy from Montucky

Two part question, do you think that the chosen like milk so much because of the influence of Barrett Brisdon? And how do you think the chosen would be different if Hardwon would have not killed Galad way back when?

Does crick rot come from the badger rot from the monster madness episode of 8 bit book club?

Bb

How badly affected is Bev from seeing so many former role models make poor choices like Thiala, Gallade, and his father?

Caldwell/Emily, I know you already mentioned finding a new patron for Onyx, but out of curiosity, what would you do if Onyx choose not to pick a new patron? Would she need to take a level in another class? Would she still have any latent magic from her pact or be totally magic-less?

What are some of your favorite quotes from the series?

For Emily in particular, what's the process for making each of the songs? What program do you use?

Do you guys have any advice on how to keep a groups attention? Like house rules?

ZachDobb

Jake/Caldwell, if you had to choose a multiclass for Bev/Hardwon what would you pick and why? Either in terms of storytelling (eg Bev took some Bard spells to compliment his lovely boy voice), or something that you'd like to try playing, or something that would compliment your current character/class in a metagame-y way?

What's your rose/thorn about trinyvale as a whole?

Cutter Waller

Any plans for a M-m-m-mixed Bag crossover between Bahumia and Trinyvale where some or all of the characters switch worlds? Maybe it could be a double adventure where you can cut back and forth between stories and Caldwell and Murph could DM their own world’s scenes?

You mentioned working on supplemental materials (graphic novels, modules, source books, etc) after this campaign ends, when you would have more time to focus on them. Given those take time to produce, what sort of timeline do you expect for post-Bahumia?

Joe Rutkowski

What do you guys think your ultimate weapon/ability is gonna be for your Band of Boobs characters?

How much of the Kingkiller Chronicle influenced your campaign? As someone who just finished the books, there seems to be a lot of homage given to the series.

Matthew McDowell

While naddpod doesn't have a whole lot of players, do have any advice for managing large party campaigns to go a little bit smoother? I keep starting some and then too many people want to play

Matthew McDowell

She is DANGEROUSLY fertile

Ashley Jamieson

Would you consider doing a one shot where Murph plays the BoB and the rest of you play your characters personal antagonists from the series plotting to take revenge?

What has been the most rewarding part of the campaign for each of you thus far?

1. Murph do you plan the band of boons to reach lvl 20 before the campaign ends? Like doing a strong power up where they get 3 levels? 2. Have you considered opening a Discord channel with rooms so fans can play DND, I know it it would bee too much but maybe do a raffle a DM a I shot campaign with fans . 3. Is the band of boobs ever going to be in Florida?

ZachDobb

Sorry to step in, but the gods of Bahumia are the standard D&D pantheon from 4e. If you look up a PDF of the 4th edition players handbook you'll find the gods you've mentored plus the rest of the pantheon, including Asmodeus and Bahamut which have also been mentioned in the podcast

Paul Smith

If you each had to multiclass, what would you choose for your characters? I've been thinking about this a lot with Onyx losing her patron.

Since the main campaign live shows have been so awesome and popular, are there any plans of having a Trinyvale live show? Would love to see how far the shenanigans would go with Duncle being corrupted by a live crowd!

ZachDobb

Emily/Jake, would you ever try your hand at DMing a campaign similar to Caldwell doing Trinyvale once a month or so, or maybe a one-shot? If so, do you have any ideas about theme or genre?

Brandalf The Bae

We all know that Butterfinger BBs are the official candy of the Trinyvale campaign; what are your guys' favorite sweets?

Cosimo Montagu

Caldwell/Emily - You both reference anime on the podcast and as a source of inspiration for Beverly and Moonshine, what are your top 3 anime’s and why?

What does Moonshine’s high elven heritage mean, genetically, for her fertility?

Francis A Leyco

Question for Jake, would you ever play a spellcaster? When you said I cast counter spell, it made me want to know how you would play it.

Andrew Bonkginya

Was Karen totally improvised and will she and Blavin make it in this crazy game we call life??

Jerry Mercer (me)

At what point in the campaign did paw paw develop plot armor, and do any NPC’s in trinyvale have plot armor?

Dave Ligblurt

When Caldwell conceptualized this setting, did he have it in mind that in terms of the technology relevant to social media, it would be indistinguishable from 21st century Earth, or was he forced to just kind of roll with that beautiful nonsense bullshit as it came, and if so, what did that do to his overall concept of the world once it happened?

mentallo

When Trinyvale is over, are you considering doing a campaign centered around pro wrestling?

Logan Farrington

Murph/Caldwell, how often do the shenanigans of your various parties force you, as a DM, to have to make up random shit? I started a campaign yesterday and the first thing one of my players did was get the other PC’s to play a big game of beer pong, which I suddenly had to make up on beer pong mechanics

1) is Emily going to DM ever? 2) when you start a new campaign is it possible to have video of y'all playing? I'm not asking for anything extravagant just want something like the Oxventure but with you guys. 3) could you do a love show in St. Louis?

Liam Cornell

And could we have a pregnant cat and pawsome update

Liam Cornell

Are you planning to ever do a live show tour in Canada

Q for Daddy Murph/Dunkle Caldwell: What got you guys started in DM'ing and what tips do you give for people wanting to start?

Kevin Dowd

Question for Emily, You continue to be a creative agent of chaos at the table but lately your play style has become awesomely crunchy as well. is this something that happened naturally or did you put in effort so you could womp Murph and Caldwell more often

Question for Murph: It seems like Jenz has finally found closure with the death of Huncle, whats next for him? Obtaining a couple of sweet rides from Mercurio's garage? Love, Plumpus Dumpus

Rich Hilborn

Will you ever do a live show in Canada?

Aaron

How do you guys feel your character's motivations have changed over the course of the story?

Micah Edmonds

Caldwell! You don't seem to be as averse to killing important npcs as Murph is as a DM (Huncle, Benefactor kinda, Mercurio), and on quick, unexpexted twists in general. Is it mainly because the episodes are fewer and it takes more to keep things going, is there something in storytelling that you enjoy about keeping things so extreme and cutthroat, and how do the players feel about such fast paced changes in locations and npc status?

BlurryVizion

😂

BlurryVizion

I think of them as the White Lotus from Avatar TLAB lol

Catrissa

I know we have touched base on how Jake just always follows what Emily does. Do you notice a theme that Jake’s characters all seem to be “side kicks” to Emily’s, but in a respectful way like they are best friends. Also, what cool weird things has Emily gotten from eBay or thrift stores?

Du you guys ever imagine that not only would this become such a big thing, but that the campaign would become as deep and detailed as it has?

Question for Caldwell- was the campaign always planned to be this long? At the beginning it seemed like it was goind to be about 6 episodes long (one for each crystal and a big one at the end as an epilogue) but now ot seems like the world is so large it could keep growing and expanding into a full-sized adventure! Love the feel of trinyvale btw, it's such a fun world!

Garga Lenoir

Is there any chance of you guys appearing on Table Pop? Honestly I want to see who gets the most insane between Carolyn and Emily...

Q for Emily, Caldwell and Jake: If you had to play an Evil campaign, what kind of villain would you like to be? And for Murph, what kind of hero would you like to create to fight against them?

Nitzan

Duncle and Jake, do you think Suze and Jill would ever want to guest on the pod?

Is the Council of Elders part of the Canon of every world like Paw Paw? Like I’m not sure if all shoutouts can work of they’re canon. But for example it would be fun if they’re part of golden Iris in Trinyvale or they’re some background organisation that exists in every world... maybe like the watchers in the Marvel Universe. I guess this is more food for thought than an actual question ;)

Jillian Sy

Q for the boobs and daddy Murphy: Now that we’ve had Siobhan, Brennan and Zac on the pod, are we ever gonna get Ally? I’m already a broken record about this on twitter but I just think they’re super cool and it’s insane to me that every game of dnd Ally has ever played has been recorded for D20! Love you guys and now that I’m in college I haven’t had enough time to listen to the boobs but it makes me so happy to hear your voices on the bus ride home ❤️ ps any advice for this tired bio student trying her best?

Ellen BK

What's Keith and Karen's living situation at the moment? There's plenty of room in the apartment, right?

Lucas Lindholm

Jake, do you like playing a Ranger? I've heard mixed reviews. Caldwell when will we get to ranafor and the apes???

BlurryVizion

I like this ?. Homebrew rules/spells are so fun sometimes!

BlurryVizion

Dunckle is a bad bad influence!!! 😂😂💕🙏🖖 love Trinyvale! Always super fun.

SpaceAgeStuff

Q for Murph and Caldwell: what has been your favorite home brew/custom mechanic you’ve introduced in the campaign? Which one do you think was most successful in what you intended for it?

Jay V

When planning sessions, how much do you attempt to plan for hijinks and chaos? How much of the story has been reshaped based on the aforementioned hijinks?

If you had to play someone else's character, who would it be and why?

Em D

Caldwell: Did you draw any inspiration for Bev from LOTR’s lovable fuck up, Pippin? I noticed on my most recent watch of the trilogy that they have a similar way of speaking, in my opinion (minus the accent, of course). If not, are there any existing characters that you consciously pulled inspiration from?

BlurryVizion

I know that EVERY night was absolutely AMAZING... But did you guys each have a favorite Tour Show night? Which city had the best pre or aftetshow food? Glad you guys are back at home safe! Can't wait for the rest of the regular campaign!!! 💕🙏🖖

Ps can you ask the Trinyvale gang if I can crash at their apartment for a bit? The no-rent situation sounds sweet and I want to get in on that

Que-runchy question for daddy-murph: what aspect of the campaign has deviated the most from how you originally expected it to go?

Gianni Pappas

So I noticed how much more sexual the trinivail game is than the normal campaign. In the bahumya game you all seem to shy away from anything more than making out (showing ass in one case only) but in trinivail You don’t seem as much? Was it just the types of characters?

Jack

Who is the landlord of the apartment and does he know how many people Jens is subletting it to?

Sir Carl

Murph: How do you decide when to side with the set dnd rules and when to let shenanigans occur. Is it different on a podcast vs a home game?

ursa

Will the main campaign song that plays at the beginning of Bahumia episodes (and during epic party moments that make me cry) be on spotify anytime soon?

Hrishi Venkatesh

Considering how successful Trinyvale has been, are there plans for any possible future side quests/one shots DMed by Emily and/or Jake?

Duncle, how do you come up with all your cool custom mechanics, like the rolling for the type of attack Keith's Mech would make?

Edson Salgado

Question for Murph: did you get the idea to give you NPCs a unique laugh from One Piece?

Boris DeOnion

If Onyx was to cash in on that ad revenue from Trinstagram, what in-world products would she/ the party, promote and how?

Lady Haeli

Is there a NADDPOD Amazon wish list for the gifting of, for example, edible SD cards and possum treats (or actual stuff that would be useful for the pod)?

If you had a chance to get another card like the one Balnor came from here in Trinyvale who you hope to pull from Bahumia? Minus Deadeye, Gemma, and Balnor lol.

Daddy Murph and Duncle, what do you struggle with the most when planning encounters? How much do you change when you customise monsters?

Josnak

What were some other things the mech could do? Seems like we only got a glimpse of its abilities! Also the music that played during its turns was so cool! Any chance we'll get a Trinyvale album at some point? :)

Martin Leo

Who would play the Band of Boobs in the TV/movie adaptation?

James Lloyd

Question for Emily, would you ever consider DMing a bonus campaign or even a one-shot and if so, what sort of world would you like to build? Something more low fantasy like Game of Thrones, the more standard High Fantasy or something more tencho-magic like Trinnyvale.

James Lloyd

I would love to see a short (Bonus campaign) from Jake in the future. I think that Jake mentioned liking the idea of running a low fantasy campaign where magic is rare, similar to Game of Thrones. Even if it was super short, it would love to see what Jake did with such a concept and how everyone handled being a player in such a hard world of mud and political intrigue.

What are the plans for the UK live shows? They're not Nannerfly Effect right?

Daniel Unger

How much whomping have the boobs done to the campaign you had initially planned, Duncle? How different is this current timeline from what was written from the jump?

TJ Michael

Dear Daddy Murphy and Duncle Caldwell, what music do you listen to while planning your campaigns?

G.X. Barnett

At even levels, who does everyone think would win in a fight between the players characters individually (Blavin or Keychain vs. Beverly, Moonshine vs. Onyx, Hardwon vs. Nyack, Jenz vs. Balnor or Old Cobb) and as a group?

Andrew

Where was Balnor?

Andrew

Question for Qualdwell, how is it DMing for such a popular public show? Is it something you can keep up with when it’s not your full time job, or is Murph just some sort of superhero to be able to it weekly while also having other commitments?

Duncle! We’re you always planning on making Karen Keith’s cousin? Or were you planning on making them not be related and be in a physical relationship?

Do you guys ever find yourself forgetting that your playing in a universe that's only been created for these campaigns? I always have to remind myself that the universe only exists on NADDPOD because it's so rich with characters, places and lore!

Snow

I am going to DM for the first time, but I don't really have access to the official books or any of that. Instead I'll have to rely on free apps and YouTube tutorials. Do you have any tipps or things that could easily be overlooked without the official material? I don't have that much experience overall in DnD, most of it I gathered through both your campaigns

Andy Jones

Jake, do you have more compassion and empathy for Balnor after carrying the merch bag around for the tour last week?

How do you feel about people cosplaying as your characters? Do you have a favourite cosplay you've seen at a live show?

If Onyx changes patrons, will she have to change her pastel aesthetic???

Michael McGrath

Jake now that you're more comfortable with D&D do you wish you had played a more complicated class? Or do you have plans to do so?

Francis Lee

I'm in the middle of writing my own campaign and coming up with a pantheon of God's has been one of my favourite parts, which led me to wonder; are there many more gods in Bahumia other than the ones we've heard about? (Melora, Kord, Morradin, Pelor)

What are the things that Onyx, Nyack and Jens honestly think about each other but wouldn’t really tell them to the other party members directly? Hugs, J.

What’s your favourite D&D book from 5e?

If any of you had the chance of becoming the Dm of a mini campaign on the podcast what sort of story or theme would you be interested in? For example would the players be hero’s or the villains? Would it be based in the future, past or present? Would the world be classic fantasy or have a twist to it? Etc.

What music is Emily listening to right now? When might we expect another album (podcast or nonpodcast related)?

Michael McGrath

I've been so jealous seeing all the photos from their tour I hope they come to Aus!

Phillipe Bosher

Do you guys have any idea what the plots will be for your UK tour yet? :)

James Langdon

Now that you’re wrapping up the nannerfly effect tour, where are you going to do your next set of live shows? Please come to Australia

Once you finish this campaign, will you guys continue with another one? Will you use different characters or the same ones?

Daisy Jago

Is there any particular multiclass any of you really want to try out? Whether it's a fun one or something super optimised like Deadeye or just something that would add a lot of flavour to a cool character?

Favorite moment in Trynival so far?
