On the wild magic front, I'm currently in a Ravnica campaign and my character Evendriel was a human test subject for Project Lightning Bug. She's now a wild magic changeling with a focus on lightning & chaos magic who 'glitches' out after all the experimentation, so sometimes her spells misfire and her form shifts unwittingly.

This is old, but quarantine made me a patron and I'm playing some catch up. Emily, storm sorcerer is fucking amazing to play. I am the teacher sponsor for a d&d club at my high school and I play a storm sorcerer pirate in one of my students campain and I channel my inner Emily Axford with the sheer chaos I can become in a campain as one. As someone who has played a Wild Magic Sorcerer from level 1 to level 20 I can confirm it is very fun. I played for about 2 years in that campaign and most likely the party will hate you but it will be amazing. Believe it or not you actually buff yourself ~40% of the time and when it happens it can turn the tide of battle. Also can totally bone yourself so it works out. Anyways just wanted to say I appreciated that conversation 😅
