Ngl, the vampire episodes have been really depressing to listen to. Listening to the short rests and knowing that Jake doesn't hate playing now and is still having fun with this plot twist makes it easier to listen to.

I feel so validated hearing Murph say druid is the hardest class. It was my first class and I played with a group of guys 20-30 years older than me. I felt so confused and lost and they didn't help. I love the class thoroughly now but fuck

I'm probably going to play an Eldritch Knight for an upcoming Curse of Strahdt campaign. Whether intentionally or not, she ended up up combining aspects of the boobs--she's a freckled, backwoods halfling fighter with issues opening up.

I played an Eldritch Fighter in a one-shot and I can confirm that they're really fun. If you ever do end up playing one, Green-Flame Blade and Booming Blade are SUPER good.

Ooh Murph I HIGHLY recommend eldritch knights! My first ever character was a half-goliath earth genasi eldritch knight, and he was truly the powerhouse of my party. There’s nothing like choking out an enemy with shocking grasp after you’ve nearly cleaved him in half. (He also ended up multi-classing as a paladin and ended up as a living saint...He sounds like your dream man.)

I’ve played an elven ranger and wasn’t thrilled. Then played a water genasi Druid and loved her (she was essentially a waterbender) but didn’t get to play her for very long 🙁 but now I’ve been playing a teifling wizard for a few months and I fricken love her. I feel way more comfortable as a spell caster than a melee fighter.
