When Murph initially mentioned that resurrection/reincarnation wouldn't be a sure-thing in his world, he actually said that revivify would function as normal (since it has to be done within one minute, it's essentially a mega healing spell). The second time they talked about it on a short rest, he included revivify in the special rules collection. While I appreciate the importance of having lives be at stake, I DON'T appreciate having to worry about the Boobs surviving when the spell slots and components are available!! 😬

I see it as more passive suicidal, the fact that he brings up the idea entirely on his own, especially when it's a group that is known for hunting their targets down, so leaving him is actually pointless.

Just listening through for the first time. Bev Sr. never felt like he had a suicide vibe. It just seemed like he was saying there may come a point where the hounds have a hostage or something similar and like telling the boobs to drop their weaponsand come out. Basically that they are not to be trusted even in the worst situations.

In the game I run, the Tempest Cleric uses a lot of lightning in his spells. We've already established that his Spare The Dying is just electrifying someone to restart their heart, and I'm pretty sure his revivification magic will be the same. What I'm trying to say is that you could reskin a cleric to be a paramedic pretty easily, but I'm not sure you SHOULD. :D

You know I've always wanted to try Isekai within d&d. It would be a great fit. But after listening to the d&d cartoon mix bag it could easily be done wrong. Most action shonen worlds would be cool to explore. Many good quality characters from those worlds can be found in the video game Jump Force.
