The U in GURPS is "Universal" so its like a rp system you can apply to any setting/time period/theme! I did a small campaign in the Adventure Time universe, but its kinda complicated

Space D&D does exist. It’s called Spelljammer, and they’ve been hinting at making rules for 5e for it. It’s not like super science fiction-ish, more just Space Boats.
