Okay so the nutty putty incident: the guy and his brother liked to go spelunking and decided to check out the nutty putty cave system. He was going down that tunnel bc he thought it was a different tunnel that leads out to a clearing. To get there you have to put your arms to your side and squeeze your way through. So he’s stuck and can’t get out. A rescue team attempted to rig some pulleys and when he was a couple feet out the hole the pulleys broke and he sunk further down the hole. He know he was gonna die soon so the let him call his wife and say goodbye. He died and they couldn’t retrieve his body so they left him there and sealed up the passage. There’s a plaque next to him for a grave marker. Crazy shit
