Also just another ballroom tidbit - all the music you hear is not pre-recorded. The vocals, or chants, are done live by an emcee who's improvising on the spot based on the beat and the rhythm of the performer. Virtually everything in vogue is improvised

Noel honestly was very respectful of the history of ballroom and its origins. Ballroom was created as a response to the racism within white gay communities and was used as a safe space for Black and Brown queer people. Along with voguing - which refers to the dance - there were different elements such as runway and face. I'd recommend watching clips of Leiomy as she's considered one of the most influential members of ballroom recently.
