When I'm anxious and stressed I also get the issue with swallowing. :/ It blows. I know this is sorta cheesy, but there's this thing called 4 by 4 breathing that really helps; breathe in for four seconds, hold it for four more, let it out for four, and don't breathe in again for another four. Repeat until you're grounded. Hope your anxiety improves! :) Also, y'all should check out All of Us are Dead on Netflix. Finally a well done zombie show. ⭐

cody obv this isn’t the first choice but have you considered getting on a low dose of prozac?? truly was the only thing that could help me after months of panic attacks with severe physical symptoms (trouble swallowing, my limbs would go numb, trouble breathing, etc.) and changed my life

i've found putting an icepack on my chest helps with anxiety, so maybe try that next time?

When I’m having bad anxiety I actually do have a really hard time swallowing to the point where I can’t eat soil foods at all because I overthink it. So no Cody you aren’t alone but maybe get a therapist

Cody when I’m super anxious I have troubles like swallowing my spit or it feels like I choke a little bit on my spit and I swallow a little bit of air every time. It contributes to the over all horrible feeling in the chest area 👍🏼 ur still fuckin weird but ur not alone
