I watched the first few episodes with the English dub and subtitles on and realized pretty quick that the dialogue from the voice actors is actually super different at times from the subtitles. The subs weren’t even that great but the dub was so much worse. Honestly changes the show

It's by a different director, but one of my favorite Korean films that is also revenge/vengeance themed (there are quite few revenge/vengeance plots in Korean films) is Lady Vengeance. It's very dark, but it's probably more sensible than the movie Noel just described. The one getting revenge is the good one in this movie. He also directed Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, OldBoy, and The Handmaiden if anyone is familiar with those films.

(in case there’s a squid game 2 here’s a quick currency conversion i use) i remember when 1000 won was right around $1 back in the day (it’s around 80 cents now). so whenever i see “X amount of won” i delete three zeroes from the figure and convert to dollars. e.g. 1,000,000 won would be approximately $1000. (obviously there’s been inflation and it’s not exact but it gives me a ballpark to work with) the last three zeroes of korean currency are like the cents on the US dollar.

She went through a few scenes and there were little variations of things that were meant to be different that change the whole meaning of a few important scenes. They made the storylines a lot deeper h more interesting. I can’t find her @ but u can prob search and find it. It sucks smh wish they were better
