when it comes to selling cards, you play to emotions specifically targeting those with money. so yeah, kinda scammy but kinda not. some cards have more value depending on where theyre from—japan cards are *always* more valuable. (best quality too) no matter the type of card, the game is always the same. its all about hype. i cant speak on Pokemon card selling but d u d e i made an absolute killing selling kpop photocards. those are, more often than not, printed once and never again. as nerdy as it sounds, thats where the real money is. invest in a popular group, collect and resell. the only risk you run is the member you collect doing something controversial/bad. then...whole collection is rendered $0
