I first found this comic on Instagram. I didn't want to put a comment since I'm afraid she'd see it, but I had something similar happen with a girl also called Val. This really brought this comic and 63 and 64 to life for me. Only difference is I asked her out and she said yes but then ghosted me completely. It really hurt seeing her do that after thinking we were great friends, it makes me think we weren't ever friends. I hope we can see how Thad deals with it and if he ever got closure. Keep up the good work:)
