Progress Report

This update will be really short for reasons that will soon become clear, the same reasons that caused me to forget to post it yesterday.
First of all, the script for the first release of Supermodel is now complete, which means that I can move straight into rendering and implementing these scenes. I have also spent some time preparing sound effects, which I have made serious investments into so that even this aspect of this game will be elevated among its peers.
Secondly, I have covid. That's right, I finally caught it and got the initial symptoms on Wednesday. By the time I woke up on Thursday, I was a complete wreck. If you look at the list of non-dangerous symptoms for the disease, I have all of those symptoms except two, which feels kind of unfair after hearing colleagues and friends talk about how their bouts with covid were like a light cold. Fuck that; what I have right now feels like a severe flu, the most sick I've been for as long as I can remember. There is no need to fear for me, though. I'm triple-vaccinated and not in a risk group.
Needless to say, I won't be able to do any work until this passes. Even writing this update is taking all the strength and concentration I have available in my body.
Hopefully, next week's update will tell you I'm covid-free again. Fingers crossed.

Take care of yourself Belle, we can wait as long as it takes. I've been dodging that bullet so far, but some friends and family had a rough time with it.
I hope you feel better soon. It varies from person to person so I understand that it is exhausting to deal with.
