hisoka is neither friend nor foe. hes certainly a huge freak and you shouldnt ever trust him but hes also fairly simple he wants to fight strong guys especially if its to the death so if you give him a chance to do that he will likely cooperate. so its not a matter of trusting him but rather using him to suit your goal

Is Hisoka a friend or foe? I find the safest option is to always assume the latter, even if he's a friend for the moment. The only people he actually keeps contact with are those he wants to fight, either now or in the future. How do ya really relax around a guy like that?
