About the Queen Taratect mentionned by Oka, do you remember the one mentionned by Balto (Ariel's aide) at the beginning of episode 17 ? Well it's not said in the anime, but a Queen Taratect lives outside of the Elves Barriere, it's its territory that will pass through the demon Army.

The Queen Taratects and their spawns are basically Ariel's personal army, that's one of the reason why she was so pissed when Wakaba killed Mother.
