Patreon New Sales Tax
🕑 Added 2020-06-28 07:30:36 +0000 UTCHello friends and supporters. Although I should've made this post a few weeks ago, I only got around to it now. It seems that, starting next month, Patreon is gonna be implementing sales tax on all pledges. While I myself, don't understand it very well, at the end of the day it'll probably mean I'll earn a bit less overall. Obviously I'm NOT going to even SUGGEST anyone raises their pledge to compensate, but I would be very grateful if you simply remained aboard as if nothing changed. After reading a bit on Patreon's own posts on this matter, i believe you are correct. However, i think my patrons won't be much affected or maybe not at all, since I don't sell any merchandise.

Pretty sure the tax is for the patreons only? for example i might give 10 dollars and i would pay 2 dollars of tax. So 12 dollars if my math is right :)
